Jobot in the United States is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician for a permanent 2nd shift or weekend role. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Candidates should have at least five years in industrial maintenance, including welding, plumbing, hydraulics/pneumatics, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment maintenance with strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems are in good condition.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluid levels, and filters, following checklists.
• Use tools from hand tools to precision electrical testing devices.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, components, pipes, machinery, or equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and reference blueprints or manuals to fix them.
• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts using tools and reassemble equipment.
• Maintain and repair equipment across cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
• Adhere to safety protocols including lockout/tagout.

Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position, working on the 2nd shift or weekends, offering a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will be instrumental in ensuring seamless operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with a keen eye for problem-solving and an unwavering commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, and the physical condition of the building does not deteriorate.
2. 2. Inspecting drives, motors, and belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or performing other maintenance actions, following checklists.
3. 3. Using tools ranging from common hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.
4. 4. Assembling, installing, or repairing wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, plumbing, machinery, or equipment.
5. 5. Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
6. 6. Inspecting, operating, or testing machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions.
7. 7. Repairing or replacing defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.
8. 8. Maintaining and repairing specialized equipment and machinery found in cafeterias, laundries, hospitals, stores, offices, or factories.
9. 9. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
