Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing team in a role focused on maintaining and repairing complex machinery. You will inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and document all work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

1. 1. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and respond to signs of malfunction.

3. 3. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly and accurately to minimize production downtime.

5. 5. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
6. 6. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
7. 7. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
8. 8. Document and maintain records of all maintenance and repair work.
9. 9. Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize maintenance and repair work.
