Job summary

Industrial Maintenance Team Lead position overseeing maintenance operations in a manufacturing plant, focusing on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of complex machinery, conveyors, lasers, and robotics. You will coach technicians, apply TPM and 5S standards, and ensure safety, quality, and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep knowledge of schematics, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of electrical components including start/stop stations, relays/motor starters; able to calculate Watts, Volts, Amps, OHMS and electrical loads.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and mechanical maintenance experience.
• Certification to operate powered industrial vehicles and overhead cranes; certifications must be achieved within 30 days of start.

Responsibilities

• Balance manpower using job distribution based on qualifications and skill sets.
• Perform root cause analysis (5-Why, fishbone, PDCA) and implement corrective actions for safety, quality, and downtime.
• Plan and perform modifications, repairs, and maintenance on complex machinery; train less experienced technicians.
• Diagnose and repair machine trouble including dismantling/reassembly with advanced troubleshooting.
• Maintain conveyors, paint systems and chemical processes; interpret drawings and instructions.
• Leading supervisory duties in absence of a supervisor and support 5S housekeeping audits.
• Support ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 compliance; participate in special projects as needed.
