Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Team Lead and skilled Maintenance Techs to oversee maintenance activities, troubleshoot, repair, and improve industrial production equipment across the facility.

The role focuses on supporting and training maintenance personnel, assigning daily work, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of manufacturing equipment. Strong electrical/mechanical expertise and PLC/CNC/robotics experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• 3+ years leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC, robotics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and support maintenance team members while promoting a safe work environment.
• Assign and prioritize daily maintenance activities based on production needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and repair CNC machines, industrial equipment, and automated production systems.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, motor controls, and robotics systems.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Install, align, level, and commission new machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications as needed.
• Conduct root cause analysis of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, inventory records, and repair logs.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company standards and safety requirements.
• Support company health, safety, and operational objectives.
