The role involves diagnostics across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, with a focus on preventive maintenance, changeovers, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex malfunctions across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to maintain high production uptime.
• Execute comprehensive overhauls and preventative maintenance on industrial packaging equipment, including motors, gearboxes, and precision electrical components.
• Streamline production changeover processes and provide technical guidance to line operators to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
• Interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and machine manuals to perform accurate installations and repairs.
• Champion safety protocols and ensure all maintenance activities adhere to rigorous industry standards and PPE requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support facility infrastructure and participate in high-impact process improvement projects.
• Manage the setup and calibration of automated packaging lines, including cartoners, fillers, and palletizing systems.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting AC/DC electrical systems (480v-120v) and reading complex technical schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with demonstrated experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, and gear‑driven machinery.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 55 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Possession of a personal set of standard mechanic's hand tools.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with blow molding equipment, specifically Uniloy or Bekum platforms.
• Working knowledge of PLC programming and Variable Frequency Drives (VFD).
• Proven ability to manage multiple technical priorities simultaneously under tight production deadlines.
