Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent vocational training.
• 5+ years hands-on maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting with schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plus combustion-related diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Perform preventive maintenance on extrusion and thermal processing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems.
• Maintain PLC logic, relays, and electronic components.
• Conduct daily inspections of utility systems (air, cooling water) to ensure integrity.
• Collaborate with leadership to upgrade equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Document maintenance activities and parts usage in the CMMS.

About the Role

Responsibilities

• Execute rapid response troubleshooting for equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and maintain operational flow.
• Perform comprehensive preventive maintenance on critical manufacturing assets, including extrusion and thermal processing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair complex faults in hydraulic, pneumatic, and combustion systems to restore peak performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC logic, relay systems, and electronic components to ensure precise machine control.
• Conduct daily inspections of utility systems, including compressed air and cooling water circuits, to ensure system integrity.
• Collaborate with leadership to install and upgrade equipment, focusing on enhancing safety and operational efficiency.
• Document all maintenance activities and parts usage accurately within the CMMS to support data-driven maintenance strategies.
• Uphold rigorous safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment to support a culture of operational excellence.

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent vocational training.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Proven proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including reading schematics and ladder logic.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in welding, gear reducers, and equipment alignment.
• Ability to interpret complex technical documentation, blueprints, and hydraulic diagrams.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced experience with PLC programming and sophisticated electrical control systems.
