Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) is seeking a Site Safety Manager in Newark, NJ to lead the Site Safety Program, ensure policy adherence, and champion Beyond Zero safety initiatives. The role requires coordinating with site leadership to translate strategy into action and driving continuous improvement in safety and performance.

You will mentor staff, manage performance, and report on safety metrics while supporting cost controls and efficient operations with the Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Strong spoken and written communication skills.
• Solid computer skills including MS Office, web apps, and CMMS.
• Foundational business acumen (contracts, billing, finance, relationships)
• Planner/scheduler experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Site Safety Program and ensures policies are followed by employees.
• Demonstrates leadership for employee safety and wellness through Beyond Zero initiatives.
• Develops and implements site-level and company-wide strategic initiatives.
• Supports change management and ensures effective adoption of new processes.
• Communicates with team to align site actions with strategic objectives.
• Drives execution of team priorities using ATS leadership competencies.
