Job summary

Advanced Technology Services (ATS) in Chicago seeks a Site Safety Leader to manage the Site Safety Program, ensure policy adherence, and drive Beyond Zero safety initiatives. You will lead and mentor staff, monitor safety performance, and promote a culture of safe, compliant operations.

You will collaborate with site management to implement new processes, track maintenance KPIs, and support cost control while fostering ATS cultural values and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft applications, web-based applications, and CMMS software.
• Foundational business acumen (understanding contracts and the customer’s business, negotiation, billing models, financial experience, relationship building).
• Planner/scheduler experience ideal.

Responsibilities

• Manages the Site Safety Program and ensures all policies are being followed by employees.
• Demonstrates leadership for employee safety and wellness through Beyond Zero initiatives.
• Leads and ensures the Operating System is understood, reinforced, and embedded.
• Assists Site Manager in measuring and reporting key maintenance performance indicators including root cause analyses, action items, and continuous improvement.
• Communicates and escalates priorities, issues, and equipment status to the customer to sustain a positive and profitable relationship.
• Reviews work orders and ensures adherence to work schedules; conducts team meetings as a leader.
