Job summary

Superior Aluminum Alloys in New Haven, IN, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Specialist to drive project work and process improvement across the plant. Day shift: Monday through Friday.

You will create and maintain a safe work environment, perform projects, install new equipment and PMs, and support contractors. • Previous industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong welding and fabrication experience.
• Strong electrical / mechanical aptitude.
• Driven to make things better and have a positive attitude.
• Problem solving and troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBA.
• Rigging experience (preferred).
• Electrical experience (preferred).
• Project management experience (preferred).
• Contractor management experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain safe work environment and practices

• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive them to completion
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation
• Work with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBA
