Job summary

Superior Aluminum Alloys is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for the Melting department. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical maintenance on swing shifts (6-6, 4 on 4 off) to keep equipment reliable and safe.

Responsibilities include covering vacations, installing and maintaining equipment, welding and fabrication as needed, upholding safe work practices, and keeping accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Excellent safety record and strong communication skills.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical / mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to pass FIT test for full face respirator and SCBA.

Responsibilities

• Cover maintenance vacations.
• Work with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBA.
• Perform preventative maintenance, project work and installation of new equipment.
• Welding and fabrication as needed.
• Monitor and ensure safe work practices.
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation.
• Perform all other tasks assigned by leadership.
