Job summary

Superior Aluminum Alloys in Indiana is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance in the Melting department. The role features a swing shift schedule (6 am–6 pm, 4 on 4 off) and involves covering vacations as needed.

You will perform preventative maintenance, project work, and installation of new equipment, weld and fabricate as required, monitor safe practices, and keep complete maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

• Excellent safety record and strong communication skills.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to pass FIT test for full-face respirator and SCBA.

Responsibilities

• Cover maintenance vacations
• Work with chemicals that require full face respirator or SCBA
• Perform preventative maintenance, project work and installation of new equipment
• Welding and fabrication as needed
• Monitor and ensure safe work practices
• Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation
• Perform all other tasks assigned by leadership
