Petoskey Plastics is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to maintain manufacturing equipment and perform preventive and reactive maintenance. You will work with PLCs, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and document activities in the work order module.

The role requires collaboration with the maintenance team and safety committee to drive improvements. Ideal candidates bring a 2-year technical degree, 5+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• Two year technical degree required.
• Minimum 5 years industrial equipment maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• AC/DC drive troubleshooting knowledge.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with Maintenance Coordinator to manage PMs, spare parts, and reorder levels.
• Approve PM activities by completing work orders and documenting parts and closures.
• Provide operator training on equipment when needed.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, read ladder logic, and analyze PID control behavior.
• Diagnose root causes and implement permanent improvements.
