Adient in Plymouth MI is seeking a Maintenance Tech to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment to support uptime and safety. The role requires reading electrical schematics, performing preventative maintenance, and using a range of hand and power tools.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years in industrial maintenance, and welding skills (MIG/STICK; TIG a plus). Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and a willingness to work overtime is expected.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED with industrial maintenance experience.
• Technical/Associate degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial maintenance is a plus.
• 2+ years manufacturing experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical and industrial skills; PLC experience and HVAC a plus.
• Ability to read electrical schematics for industrial machinery.
• MIG and stick welding required; TIG welding a plus.
• Must be motivated, able to work independently, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Preferred blueprint reading and reading technical manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Follow lab safety criteria and ensure PPE use; maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled repairs; assist with emergency repairs.
• Read work orders/manuals, diagnose problems, replace parts and test adjustments.
• Operate lift truck and other material handling equipment; respond to unsafe conditions.
