Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift in Blanchester, OH. This hands-on role focuses on daily machine and facilities maintenance, preventive care, and quick resolution of equipment issues to support production.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control systems, reading schematics, and coordinating with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement while adhering to 6S and safety policies.

Qualifications

Proven hands-on maintenance experience in a production/industrial environment.
Strong electrical troubleshooting and control system skills.
Mechanical maintenance including hydraulics and related systems.
Experience with PLCs and HMI interfaces for diagnosing equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical/mechanical schematics.
Commitment to strict safety policies and 6S practices.

Responsibilities

Perform daily, preventive, and repair maintenance on production machinery and facility systems.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control system issues to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to diagnose problems.
Repair or replace nonconforming components and modify equipment as needed.
Assist with installation, commissioning, and start-up of new equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects.
Uphold safety policies and 6S standards in all maintenance activities.
Coordinate with external vendors for maintenance work and projects.
