Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance on equipment in our industrial disposal process. You will work with teams to prevent downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The role requires 2–4 years in a heavy industrial setting, ability to work rotating shifts, and overtime as needed. Benefits start day one and include health insurance and retirement programs.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Complete preventive maintenance tasks per schedule to prevent breakdowns.
• Investigate breakdowns and line stoppages using root-cause analysis with teams.
• Prioritize work to minimize downtime and complete documentation in CMMS.
• Open/close work orders and manage parts in the plant system.
• Repair and maintain equipment including inspection, disassembly, assembly, and replacement.
• Observe machinery to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical methods.
• Review maintenance reports to plan activities and adjust schedules.
• Inspect machines for conformance with safety standards.
