Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment essential to our waste processing operations. You will follow scheduled tasks, diagnose issues, and work with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.

The role requires 2–4 years in a heavy industrial environment, ability to work rotating shifts and overtime, and hands-on experience with mechanical maintenance and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in heavy industrial/manufacturing.
• Ability to work rotating shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to prevent equipment downtime.
• Use root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns with cross-functional teams.
• Open/close work orders and manage parts in the CMMS documentation system.
• Inspect machines, diagnose malfunctions, and replace worn components as needed.
