Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance on equipment and systems supporting the industrial disposal process.

You will follow the maintenance schedule, analyze breakdowns, prioritize repairs, and document work orders in the plant CMMS while ensuring safety and output.

The role requires 2-4 years in heavy industrial environments and rotating shifts; benefits include health insurance, PTO, retirement savings, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and operational downtime.
• Utilize root-cause analysis to investigate breakdowns and line stoppages, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
• Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize downtime and complete required documentation in the CMMS.
• Open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and perform other activities as required in the plant's maintenance documentation program.
• Repair and/or maintain operating condition of industrial equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary.
• Observe and evaluate machine operation to diagnose malfunctions using mechanical devices.
• Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify activities.
• Inspect operating machines for conformance with safety and performance standards.
