Job summary

Vantage is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to repair and maintain plant machinery, including pumps, valves, welding, and piping systems. You will interpret diagrams and manuals, use a range of hand and power tools, and ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment on the plant floor.

The role requires 4+ years in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing setting, with strong welding and piping skills and experience with safety procedures like LOTO.

Qualifications

• High School education.
• Minimum 4 years in a mechanical field.
• 3–5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Pipe fitting and piping identification.
• Reading drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plant equipment per manuals and diagrams.
• Perform safety inspections and document findings.
• Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) compliance.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and outside contractors.
• Maintain housekeeping and part stores; prepare reports of work performed.
