Job summary

PTC Alliance is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our Fairbury, IL operations. You will maintain and troubleshoot a variety of mechanical equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist in reducing downtime while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems and a collaborative approach in a loud, industrial setting. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with maintenance certification preferred.
• 1–3 years manufacturing experience is favored.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Complete planned PMs and daily preventive maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems including PLCs.
• Assist in downtime control by informing of potential issues.
• Follow safety regulations and quality standards; communicate with team.
