Qualifications

• Ability to reason through problems involving adjustments to equipment.
• Strong math and computer skills are required.
• Must achieve a minimum score of 65 on the electrician test.
• Minimum five years of job experience in maintenance/equipment electrical work.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 100 pounds.
• Must stand, walk, or climb for the shift; bend and squat with full range of motion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance personnel; act as maintenance manager in absence.
• Schedule, oversee, and perform inspections, repair, installation, and wiring of electrical systems.
• Read wiring diagrams and specifications for scheduled and emergency work.
• Diagnose faults by tracing circuits and testing equipment.
• Install and connect electrical devices, panels, and feeders; replace faulty parts.
• Maintain plant safety rules and lockout/tagout procedures.
