Source Recruitment Solutions in Quincy, MA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing plant. This is a FULL-TIME permanent position with an hourly rate by experience.
The role requires 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.
- Technical degree or certifications preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment).
- Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors).
- Diagnose motor controls and safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks).
- Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic).
- Perform welding and basic fabrication.
- Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements.
- Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards.
