Source Recruitment Solutions in North Reading, MA is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a full-time, permanent role. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, ensuring equipment reliability and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, hands-on skills with motors, PLCs, VFDs, and schematics, and a technical degree or certifications.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.
• Technical degree or certifications preferred.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for a visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment).
• Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors).
• Diagnose motor controls & safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks).
• Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic).
• Perform welding & basic fabrication.
• Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements.
• Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards.
