Job summary
Source Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Medford, MA to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in a manufacturing plant. You will contribute to equipment reliability and continuous improvement through proactive maintenance and quick fault resolution.
Responsibilities include motor controls, PLC troubleshooting, welding and fabrication, equipment setups and changeovers, and maintaining documentation in CMMS while
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with motor controls, PLCs, and schematics.
- Technical degree or certifications preferred.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the USA without the need for a visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems (gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, packaging equipment)
- Perform electrical work up to 480V (motors, VFDs, relays, sensors)
- Diagnose motor controls & safety circuits (E-Stops, relays, interlocks)
- Support PLC troubleshooting (I/O, basic ladder logic)
- Perform welding & basic fabrication
- Lead equipment setups, changeovers, and improvements
- Maintain documentation in CMMS and follow safety standards
