Job summary

The Mosaic Company, based in Florida, seeks a Maintenance Mechanic to troubleshoot, repair and perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment. You’ll work with hand tools, welding gear, and cranes while following safety procedures and CMMS procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, an accredited apprenticeship or 4 years of related experience, and willingness to obtain CDL and operate heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; Associates degree in a technical field is a plus.
• 4 years of related industrial mechanical experience or completed accredited apprenticeship.
• Phosphate industry experience preferred; ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Repair machinery per established plans and diagnose issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment failures.
• Operate cranes and move heavy components; train for certified equipment use.
• Maintain safety compliance, document work in CMMS, and support team.
