Job summary

MeriCal is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot packaging equipment across our facilities in Ogden, UT. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and ensure equipment operates with minimal downtime.

The role requires 3–7 years in a mechanical role, knowledge of packaging lines, and proficiency with reading pneumatic schematics and PLC I/O. Training production staff and maintaining a safe shop are ongoing expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 to 7 years of experience in a mechanical role or equivalent, preferably with packaging equipment knowledge.
• Ability to read English manuals and hazardous chemical information.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform repairs on industrial machinery and systems.
• Install and set up new machines or components.
• Support and train production personnel.
