Freudenberg is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Aurora, IL to repair machines, perform preventive maintenance, and tune systems for maximum uptime. You will interpret schematics and work on injection molding and automation equipment.

Applicants should have a strong troubleshooting background, experience in mid-to-large production facilities, and excellent communication in English. The role requires independent work and teamwork within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in mid to large size production facilities involving plastic injection molding, assembly, and/or automation repair.
• Mechatronics knowledge for automation systems and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to quickly diagnose and resolve system malfunctions.

Responsabilités

• Complete work orders related to machine repairs.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance to maximize system uptime and efficiency.
• Identify potential system failures and ensure critical components are stocked for quick repairs to reduce downtime.
• Conduct system testing and calibration.
• Change over on some equipment to other products.
• Maintain injection molding machines or automation systems as assigned.
