Job summary

Gruma Corporation in Omaha seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair a wide range of electrical and mechanical equipment in a food-processing environment.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of industry experience; PLC programming certification is a plus. You will read diagrams, perform preventive maintenance, train others, and ensure safety and GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 6 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience.
• Food/beverage processing or packaging environment preferred.
• Certified in Allen Bradley PLC programming or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, adjustments and repairs per CPMS program.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment to determine parts and repair needs.
• Read wiring diagrams and install/repair complex electrical circuits as instructed.
• Operate forklift and mobile lifting equipment; maintain safe working conditions.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and train less experienced employees.
