Job summary
Gruma Corporation seeks an experienced industrial maintenance technician to install, operate, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems in a food processing plant in Nebraska. The role includes troubleshooting PLCs, repairing gearboxes, conveyors, and motors, and performing routine PMs while adhering to safety policies.
A high school diploma and significant hands-on experience are required, with preferred Allen-Bradley PLC certification.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 6 years of industrial maintenance/electrical experience preferred.
- Certified in Allen Bradley PLC programming or equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Installs, operates, maintains, checks, and troubleshoots electrical equipment (3-phase and single-phase).
- Maintains mechanical equipment and drives per instruction.
- Troubleshoots PLCs and VFDs; performs PM and repairs.
- Operates forklift and handles shop tools as needed.
- Reads wiring diagrams and installs semi-complex electrical circuits.
- Dismantles and repairs gearboxes, motors, conveyors, and related equipment.
- Adheres to safety rules and maintains clean, organized work areas.
