Central Garden & Pet Company is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Neptune City, NJ. The role involves electrical and mechanical project work, troubleshooting equipment, and performing preventative maintenance on production machinery.

Shifts include 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:30 PM) and 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM). Pay ranges from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, depending on experience. Excellent benefits and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of industrial mechanic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematics.
• Ability to read diagrams and manuals.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs manufacturing equipment.
• Performs preventive maintenance on engines, motors, and conveyors.
• Installs and tunes injection molding machines or similar systems.
• Oils, greases, and maintains equipment as required.
• Addresses safety hazards to prevent injuries.
• Uses tools to complete repair and maintenance tasks.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
