Job summary

Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support the 2nd or 3rd shift and keep production flowing. You will set up machines for new product runs and diagnose hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic faults to restore equipment quickly.

Additionally, you will perform preventive maintenance to maximize uptime, carry out repairs as needed, and assist with facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• 1 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.

• Complete machine set ups/changeovers to support various product lines.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues to restore equipment to service.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to maximize uptime.
• Perform repairs, rebuilds, and welding/fabrication as needed.
• Carry out lubrication routes and hand truck repairs.
• Handle building repairs and general facility maintenance.
• Tackle additional assignments from your supervisor to support operations.

This role pays $31/hour.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues to restore equipment to service.
• Execute preventive maintenance tasks and inspections to maximize uptime.
• Perform repairs, rebuilds, and welding/fabrication as needed.
• Carry out lubrication routes and hand truck (pallet jack/hand truck) repairs.
• Handle building repairs and general facility maintenance.
• Tackle additional assignments from your supervisor to support operations.
