Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for our Newark warehouse. You will perform routine repairs on doors, dock levelers, sprinkler and HVAC systems, and inspect equipment to meet OSHA standards.

You will keep preventive maintenance records and respond to security alarms as needed, with on-call flexibility for after-hours support. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years of industrial or facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years industrial or facilities maintenance experience.
Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of electrical, plumbing, sprinkler systems, and carpentry.
Ability to use voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges for testing.
Skilled in maintenance and repair of doors, dock levelers, roofing, HVAC, and batteries.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs on doors, dock levelers, sprinkler systems, and electrical components.
Maintain preventive maintenance records and respond to security alarms as needed.
Inspect and test operating equipment to ensure OSHA compliance.
Maintain tools, machinery, batteries, and chargers in good condition.
Work flexible shifts, including on-call assignments, and perform housekeeping duties.
Maintain external equipment and grounds, including snow removal, painting, and paving repairs.
