Silvi Materials is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Foreman for the 2nd shift near Princeton, NJ. The role oversees a small crew, plans preventive maintenance for a rock quarry, and keeps critical equipment running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of maintenance experience, welding skills (MIG, stick, overhead), and familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, with a valid driver's license. Training and advancement opportunities are supported by the company.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a similar setting or with transferable quarry equipment skills.
• Welding experience required (Mig, Stick, overhead).
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan preventative maintenance, plant projects, and scheduled shutdowns with the maintenance manager.
• Lead/schedule a crew of 3-4 mechanics for daily plant maintenance.
• Procure parts lists to keep projects on track.
• Perform skilled maintenance on rock quarry equipment (crusher, conveyors, electrical panels).
• Inspect and diagnose equipment issues; restore to proper operation.
