Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to perform multi-craft maintenance, electrical work, and machine repairs on plant equipment. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing AC/DC motors, control circuits, and reading complex drawings or manuals.

You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC/DCS hardware, work with 480/240V MCC, and support preventive/predictive maintenance while safely wiring equipment in high voltage areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Industrial electrical experience required.
• Experience reading electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation drawings.
• Ability to work in environments 15–20 degrees higher than outside temperature.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot critical equipment on failure.
• Repair AC & DC motors and control circuits.
• Install and repair PLC/DCS hardware and controls.
• Maintain 480/240 Volt 3-phase MCC and power distribution systems.
• Replace electrical control devices and perform preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Wiring in high voltage areas and setting up equipment as needed.
• Move and set up equipment as required.
• Read electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic/instrumentation drawings.
