Job summary

100Hires, Inc. seeks a maintenance technician to keep production moving by installing, calibrating, and troubleshooting power, control wiring, and automation systems on hot melt and emulsion coaters and related equipment.

You will review maintenance plans, commission lines, diagnose faults in transformers, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrument loops, and document work for cost-saving repairs with 3–5 years of hands-on experience and an associate degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.
3+ years designing/developing/maintaining control systems.
Comfortable with older/legacy machinery.

Responsibilities

Install power distribution, conduit, and control wiring for new equipment.
Calibrate, commission, and operate automation systems.
Diagnose faults in transformers, motors, drives, and lighting; replace damaged conductors and cables.
Test malfunctioning machinery and collaborate with maintenance pros to isolate issues.
Repair/replace electronic components and rewire motors as needed.
Plan electrical layouts and inspect/testing instrumentation loops.
