Job summary

You will review maintenance plans, commission lines, diagnose faults in transformers, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrument loops, and document work for cost-saving repairs with 3–5 years of hands-on experience and an associate degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Role SnapshotYou keep production moving by bringing power, logic, and precision to complex machinery. From hot melt and emulsion coaters to slitters, sheeters, rewinders, solvent coaters, and guillotines, you install, wire, calibrate, and troubleshoot the systems that make it all run.A day in the lifeYou begin by reviewing the maintenance plan in the CMMS, then head to the floor to commission a newly installed line. You route conduit, pull conductors, and land terminations for power and controls. When a transformer overheats on a legacy machine, you collaborate with fellow techs, trace the fault, replace the damaged wiring, and verify load balance. After lunch, you tune a VFD, re-program a PLC routine in ladder logic to correct an I/O mapping issue, and recalibrate an instrumentation loop. Familiarity with design software.Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance in manufacturing, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems. 3+ years designing/developing/maintaining control systems.
