Job summary

The Boeing Company in Ridley Park, PA, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician A to install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in an industrial setting on the 2nd shift. This hourly role is 100% onsite and governed by the UAW.

Candidates should have an electrical apprenticeship, NEC experience and a recognized electrical certification, with 3+ years in machine tool or industrial maintenance. Visa sponsorship is not offered. Relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Completed electrical apprenticeship program.
• 3+ years of electrical/electronic maintenance experience.
• Experience with National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience in industrial/ machine tool maintenance or military electrical systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in an industrial plant.
• Perform wiring, conduit work, terminations and inspections per codes and blueprints.
• Install and test high/medium voltage equipment and machine tool controls.
• Locate and correct malfunctions, perform emergency work as needed.
• Maintain safety and housekeeping standards; mentor temporary staff.
