Job summary

Boeing Defense in Ridley Park, PA seeks a Maintenance Electrician A to support industrial electrical systems on site. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have an electrical apprenticeship, NEC experience, and 3+ years in maintenance across machine tools or industrial/electrical systems; relocation not offered. Shift is 2nd, and this is an hourly, union-position.

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship program completed.
• 3+ years NEC experience.
• 3+ years electronic/electrical maintenance experience.
• Willing to work 2nd shift and onsite.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assembles, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in an industrial plant.
• Use blueprints and knowledge of trade practice to determine routing of wires and conduit per codes.
• Install, test, and troubleshoot equipment on medium/high voltage systems and motor controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building and production equipment.
• Instruct temporary staff and assist maintenance personnel as needed.
