United Parcel Service, Inc. is hiring a Building and Systems Engineering (BaSE) Mechanics with industrial maintenance and electrical experience to keep UPS facilities running efficiently.

Work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts in a 24x7 operation and pass an electrical assessment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, conducting preventive maintenance, and welding as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical background.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment including batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, timers, servo-driven equipment, photoelectric devices, transducers, VFDs and encoders.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, conveyors, bearings, and transfer plates.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace pneumatic equipment such as diverters, lubricators, hoses, and coils.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace hydraulic equipment such as hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
• Weld equipment such as handrails, conveyor supports, and grating as defined by scope of work.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections of plant equipment like conveyors, bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.
