Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice in a structured entry-level program designed to develop Industrial Maintenance knowledge through on-the-job training and classroom instruction.

You will perform general maintenance and repairs under supervision, with increased independence as skills grow, and typically work a 1st Shift during the apprenticeship before transitioning to off-shift as completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate ability to learn and progressively increase knowledge and skills in electrical construction and installation, electrical maintenance and repair, and safety procedures.
• Learn and assist with electronic controls and independent problem solving.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with quick response to system and equipment failures.
• Follow up all work in orders to ensure proper performance and complete paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain good housekeeping, and assist with after-hours work as needed.
