Job summary

Pratt is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice in Conyers, GA to support journey-level technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment while enrolled in a related program. The role offers exposure to mechanical, electrical, and electronics work in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will assist with routine PMs, learn PLCs and drives, and read blueprints to perform repairs, while ensuring safety policies and proper documentation are followed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary or technical program during the apprenticeship.
• Willingness to learn multi-craft trades (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics).

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance on pumps, motors, hydraulics, conveyors, steam systems.
• Assist in installation and repair of machines; learn PLCs and drives.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to perform repairs.
• Assist with plant inspections and basic maintenance in plumbing, carpentry, welding, and electrical trades.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and wear PPE.
• Accurately complete work orders and maintenance paperwork.
