Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice on a full-time basis. This entry-level role provides hands-on training in industrial maintenance under experienced technicians, with supervision and increasing independence as skills grow. Apprentices typically start on the 1st shift and may move to off-shift hours upon completion.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and progressively increase knowledge in electrical construction and installation, electrical maintenance and repair, safety procedures, electronic controls, and independent problem solving.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs with quick response to failures.
• Follow up all work to ensure proper performance and complete paperwork neatly and accurately.
• Comply with company policies and safety protocols, maintain good housekeeping.
• Additional duties as assigned, including after-hours and off-shift work as production requires.
