Pratt Industries, Inc. in Conyers is seeking a Maintenance Apprentice, an entry-level, multi-craft role designed to develop technical skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.

You will assist journey-level technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing production equipment while enrolled in a related program. This hands-on program covers preventive maintenance, equipment repair, reading blueprints, and basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary or technical program during apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on pumps, motors, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Assist in installation and repair of machines; learn PLCs and drives.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and manuals to perform repairs.
• Assist plant inspections and basic maintenance in plumbing, carpentry, welding, electrical trades.
• Maintain a safe/clean work environment and wear PPE.
• Complete work orders and maintenance paperwork.
• Willing to work 2nd/3rd shifts and weekends.
• Willingness to learn multi-craft trades.
