Accelera in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Industrial Machinery Technician to ensure the reliable operation of high-capacity manufacturing equipment. You will leverage electrical and mechanical expertise to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence across our facility.

Key duties include preventive maintenance of hydraulic/pneumatic/control systems, PLC troubleshooting, and calibration of extruder components.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance.
  • Advanced proficiency in electrical troubleshooting up to 480V.
  • Strong ability to interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, Arc Flash and LOTO compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems to ensure peak equipment performance.
  • Conduct proactive assessments of critical machinery to identify and resolve potential failures before production impact.
  • Perform precise installation and calibration of extruder components to maintain output quality.
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management software to document repairs, track parts usage, and manage work orders.
  • Perform routine system rounds to inspect utility infrastructure, including chillers, pumps, and material transfer systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-based control systems to restore functionality and optimize machine logic.
  • Execute welding and fabrication tasks to support improvements and capital projects.
  • Mentor team members on total productive maintenance practices.

Qualifications
Required Skills

  • Strong ability to interpret and apply complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including Arc Flash and LOTO compliance.
Preferred Skills
  • Technical degree or certification in a related mechanical or electrical field.
  • Experience with automated manufacturing control systems and PLC programming.
  • Proven track record of identifying process improvements to enhance safety and efficiency.
