Job summary

Mohawk Industries is seeking a qualified mechanical professional to support the development, testing, installation and maintenance of industrial equipment across steam, HVAC, hydraulics and related systems. You will perform inspections, document test results, and contribute to safety and quality initiatives in a heavy manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Certification/degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Lift Truck Certification preferred.
• 1+ year recent experience repairing, maintaining, and installing mechanical machinery.
• Knowledge of building electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, generators, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test, and maintain equipment and machinery.
• Provide quality-control inspections and document test data.
• Record test results and document mechanical failures.
• May prepare CAD drawings for redesigns or modifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose faults.
