Energy Recruiters has partnered with a trusted Chevron distributor seeking an experienced, highly motivated Industrial Lubricants Specialist to help build and materially grow their Industrial Lubricants’ business from the ground floor. The successful candidate will be a hands-on business developer who can win new industrial accounts, expand existing relationships, bring technical credibility to customer conversations, and help develop a differentiated Industrial Services platform around our Chevron lubricant offering.
Salary based on experience plus commissions
Ohio. Relocation assistance is available.
Build and manage a disciplined target-account pipeline focused on new industrial lubricant and service opportunities across manufacturing, construction, transportation, energy, metalworking, and other attractive industrial sectors.
Personally prospect, cold call, conduct site visits, develop relationships, prepare proposals, and close new business; demonstrate a history and willingness to create business rather than simply inherit and service an existing book of accounts.
Grow share of wallet within existing accounts with a goal of capturing a greater percentage of each customer's lubricant, fluid, and related service requirements.
Provide consultative and technically credible recommendations involving Chevron lubricants, lubrication applications, product conversions, equipment performance, oil analysis, and reliability programs.
Develop and support value-added opportunities such as oil analysis and condition monitoring, lubrication surveys and audits, filtration and contamination control, storage and handling optimization, automatic lubrication systems, turbine and commissioning fills, and customer training.
Support and grow Chevron programs and strategic/Master Service Agreement opportunities, including ISOCLEAN and other applicable Chevron reliability initiatives.
Work with customers to quantify cost savings, reliability improvements, reduced downtime, consumption optimization, and other measurable outcomes that strengthen the overall lubricant value proposition.
Serve as a technical resource to broader sales team and help develop internal lubricant and reliability-services knowledge through joint calls, training, and product/application support.
Maintain disciplined CRM and pipeline activity, including account plans, opportunity stages, next actions, forecasts, wins/losses, and measurable sales and gross-profit objectives.
5+ years’ experience with major lubricant brand and familiarity with industrial distributor/channel models.
MLT, CLS, lubrication technology, tribology, reliability, or comparable technical certification.
Experience selling or delivering industrial reliability services in addition to lubricant products.
Experience developing a new territory, product line, service offering, or business segment.
