Altec is seeking a Technical Sales Associate in Mt. Airy, NC to drive revenue growth by providing creative, custom solutions for named accounts. You will own orders from quoting through delivery, coordinating with engineering and operations to meet customer needs.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, up to 10% overnight travel, and strong communication and problem-solving skills. A team-oriented environment offers growth and exposure to a variety of lifting products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Two years of successful experience in Customer Service, Sales Support, or Technical Support preferred.
• Available for overnight travel up to 10%.
• Must be able to independently analyze problems & develop solutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Candidate must be able to independently manage their time and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to provide value and a positive experience.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Altec products and processes.
• Serve customers by providing quotes, pricing, change orders, shipping and delivery information; address quality issues; host factory tours and inspections.
• Work with engineering and operations teams to communicate customer needs and propose solutions.
• Participate in events to continuously improve the organization and the team.
