Job summary

Vestis in Missouri is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume industrial laundry facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and repair equipment such as industrial washers and dryers to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to follow technical manuals, and a commitment to safety and teamwork on a Monday–Friday shift with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant equipment including high-volume washers and/or dryers.
• Repair or replace equipment; perform basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoot technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Order parts, tools, and equipment per procurement policy.
• Maintain daily maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Handle waste solids removal from treatment processes.
• Troubleshoot wastewater hardware and perform repairs and housekeeping.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
