Job summary

Vestis is seeking a maintenance technician to join our industrial laundry facility team. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and ensure safety and cleanliness in a high-volume warehouse setting.

The role requires 3+ years of maintenance experience, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position operates on a 3pm-11:30pm shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
• Knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and required codes.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains plant equipment including high volume washers/dryers.
• Repairs or replaces equipment; basic plumbing, mechanical, electrical tasks.
• Troubleshoots using manuals and schematics; orders parts per policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance and preventive maintenance schedules and records.
• Performs wastewater handling and related housekeeping practices.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment and follows safety procedures.
