Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our industrial laundry facility in a team environment. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs on high-volume washers and dryers, follow preventive schedules, and ensure safe operations on a daily basis.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of maintenance experience. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, working a Monday–Friday shift from 9am to 5:30pm, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mechanical and basic electrical aptitude.
• Familiar with standard maintenance procedures and safety techniques.
• Able to comprehend and perform training, written and verbal instructions.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all plant equipment including high volume industrial washers and/or dryers.
• Repairs and replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots and solves technical issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts, tools, and equipment per procurement policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance and preventative maintenance schedules and records.
• Performs waste solids handling and related wastewater maintenance tasks.
• Ensures safe, clean work environment and follows safety procedures.
