Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a maintenance technician to join our team in a high-volume industrial laundry facility. You will maintain and troubleshoot washers/dryers, perform basic plumbing/electrical tasks, and keep accurate maintenance records.

This role requires a proactive, safety-conscious approach and the ability to work within a team on a fixed shift schedule. The position involves daily responsibilities such as troubleshooting, ordering parts, and following the company procurement policy,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Basic knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all plant equipment, including high volume washers and dryers.
• Repairs or replaces equipment; performs basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical work.
• Troubleshoots issues using manuals and schematics.
• Orders parts, tools, and equipment per policy.
• Maintains daily maintenance schedules and records.
• Handles waste solids from treatment process daily.
• Performs preventive maintenance and housekeeping for wastewater hardware.
• Maintains safe, clean work environment; follows safety procedures.
• Complies with lock-out tag-out and other safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.
